Hi! I am Jo one of your API Leaders. My husband Mark is my co-leader.

I am originally from New York and Mark is from the UK.

I have two adults girls and together we have a four year old son, Ronnie.

A few years ago I decided I wanted to become an API Leader as I had become aware that many parents are not aware to gentler and connected parenting methods.


Even after joining API, I noticed that most parents who would start out strong, would fade away from AP as their child progressed into toddlerhood and beyond and I wanted to make that an important focus as those are they harder years where issues with discipline and communication do arise and AP is needed more than ever.

Many people assume that being AP was only about childbirth, baby wearing and breastfeeding and it is so much more. We also support mothers with formula and bottle feeding, hospitalized births and adoption.

Being with Attachment Parenting International helps me provide support for families in so many ways with the support of many professionals!

I am here for any questions you  may have, not just at meetings, but for one on one conversations either in person, online or over the phone.

We also have meetings  that are specifically for fathers! We can discuss ways to communicate with your wife and others so that she is getting all of the support she needs to be that amazing mother that she is. If you can’t make a meeting please let me know and I can arrange one on one help.
